The Mediterranean Baltic Sea conference in Tampere1.-3. June 2008
In June 2008 Tampere is hosting a conference, which goal is to sort out the possible good projects concerning the Baltic Sea Mediterranean area. The conference is concentrating on three subjects:
- Innovation and high-tech
- The universities and cooperation between companies
- Culture
The MEDA institute of TAMK, University of Applied Sciences is participating in the conference and the other participants are:
- University of Tampere / Tampere Peace Research Institute (www.uta.fi/tapri/)
- The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland (www.formin.fi)
- The city of Tampere (www.tampere.fi)
- Institut Europeu de la Mediterrània (www.iemed.org)

International lecturers at TAMK
The series of the international lecturers of the late winter is begun by the guests of Mr Anasse Bouhlal. In week, 9 the professor of the University of Ljubljana, Mr. Igor Jakomin will lecture on the subject “SCM - Slovenian Centers of Distribution”. In week, 11 the expert of the logistics from the Hasseltin university from Belgium, Mr Toni Fonteyn will lecture on the subject, "ERP-Systems".
